Product Description
Properties: Despite niobium presents a high melting point in elemental form 2468â. It has a low density in comparison to other refractory metals. Advantages of niobium include good corrosion resistance & excellent biocompatibility. Although its corrosion resistance is not as outstanding as that of tantalum, its lower price and greater availability make niobium attractive for less exact uses such as linings in chemical plants.

Applications
It was formed niobium cup electrode (Nb electrode) by the deep drawing process, used in CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) for backlight in large TVs and TFT LCD monitor, and for thinner frames in laptop, replacing the conventional nickel cup electrode (Ni electrode) made of Nickel strip, increasing a higher brightness by 5-10% than the current mainstream nickel electrode (Ni electrode) lamps, furthermore, achieved lower power consumption and longer lifetime by lowering heat and improving light emission efficiency.
