Applications: Diethylene glycol is used as humactant and plasticizer in the preparation of adhesive, casein, cork and tobacco; as solvent for printing ink, nitrocallulose and many dye and oils;dehydrotion of natural gas.

 

PROPERTIES:Clear, colorless, pracitically odourless, syrupy liquid with sweetish taste. Diethylene glycol is extremely hygroscopic, miscible in proportions with water, alcohols, glycolethers, acetone, cyclohexane andesters.

 

Storage and Handling: Diethylene glycol is practically not inflammable. In its handling and storange and there is no danger as to explosion,polymerization,fire or other industrial risks. There should be taken protections against contaminations and impurity, such as iron, oxigen and water.

 

Packing: Packed in 230kg plastic drums, 18.4MTS into one 20’FCL. Or in Flexitanks, 20MTs per tank.
