Used in rubber industry as filler and flame retardant; used in enameled and ceramic products as covering agent and whitening agent; used as catalyst for organic synthesis.

***Solubility: Soluble in HCl, strong alkali, sulphuric acid and tartaric acid; insoluble in water,nitric acid and acetic acid.
